SPITTING NUISANCE.
Hawking and Spitting Is Caused by
Catarrh Germs.
If the local authorities want to stop
the disgusting habit of spitting mu
cous on the sidewalks, they had better
instruct the people as to the best
method of killing the catarrh germs
and curing catarrh.
You can easily tell by reading the
symptoms below whether you have
catarrh or not:
Offensive breath, frequent sneezing,
discharge from nose, stoppage of the
nose, huskiness of the voice, tickling
’ in throat, droppings in throat, a
\ cough, pain In chest, loss of strength,
j variable appetite, spasms of coughing,
' low spirited at times, raising of mu-
L cons, difficulty in breathing, loss of
L vital force.
Dodson’s Pharmacy has a sensible
remedy (money back if it fails) for
catarrh, called Hyomei, which is a
vaporized air so antiseptic that when
it is breather over the inflamed and
germ-infested membrane, it kills all
germ life and cures catarrh.
The price, including hard rubber in
it doesn't cure. Extra bottles, 50
haler, only SI.OO, and money back if
cents.
”1 have tried almost, every catarrh
cure on the market without benefit.
Have been using Hyomei for one
week and feel like a new man al
ready."—Wm. v. Goode, Newark,
Ohio. June 21, 1909.

The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at least
one dreadful disease that science has
been able to cure in all its stages, and
that is Catarrh. Hall’s Catarrh Cure
is the only positive cure now known to
the medical fraternity. Catarrh being
a constitutional disease, requires a
constitutional treatment. Hall’s Catar
rh Cure is taken internally, acting di
rectly upon the blood and mucous sur
faces of the system, thereby destroy
ing the foundation of the disease, and
giving the patient strength by building
up the constitution and assisting na
ture in doing its work. The propriet
ors have so much faith in its curative
powers that they offer One Hundred
Dollars for any case that it fails to
cure. Send for list of testimonials.

DOCTOR COOK.
(Washington Post.)
Oh, tell us truly, Dr. Cook,
Upon your heart and soul.
If you really in your search
Discovered the North Pole;
And tell us what it looked like.
When you beheld it first—
A thing of s. ape or only wind—
That whirled around and burst!
Oh, te l us quickly, Dr. Cook,
If there is any land
In that immense old Arctic sea
Where any pole can stand:
Or if a daring Yankee
Could any time right soon
Establish there a "summer house"
Hitched to a grand balloon!
Oh, tell us kindly, Dr. Cook.
If Peary and yourself
Are faking us poor mortals
For fame and pride and pelf;
Or is it still a noted fact
That through your age and youth
You never could prevaricate,
But always tell the. truth?
Oh, Dr. Cook, and Peary, too,
Your proof we'll have to take;
For if we tried we couldn’t prove
That it is all a fake;
Or that ye wrote it for the press,
Beneath the arctic sky,
And told mankind forever
This splendid, lofty lie!
