from a short visit to relatives in At
lanta Saturday afternoon.
Miss Pearl Murrah, of Ellaville, was

George Cobb, one of the Times-Re
corder carriers, is confined to his
room since Thursday. George is one
of the best paper carriers in the
south, and during his illness his route
is being carried by his brother, James
Cobb, who subs for him, and George’s
friends all along his route will hope
for his early recovery and to see him
on the job again.

WASHBURN SHOWS ARE
COMING TO AMERICUS
The Leon W. Washburn shows com
osed of eighteen cars, are scheduled
to show in Americus the week of
November 27th. The Washburn shows
come recommended as a very high
class carnival.
The Washburn shows will be locat
ed at the Georgia-Carolina fair, at
Augusta through the week of the 20th
thence to Americus, afterwards going
tc Jacksonville for an engagement
during the Florida State fair.
The shows are considered to be one
among the largest of its kind, and will
show at the ball park and grounds ad
jacent to same, the ball park not be
ing large enough to accommodate all
of the shows.
