A Drop On a
Touchy Corn
Instant relief! Then corn or
callus lifts off with fingers.
Just think! You can lift
off any corn or callus
without a twings of pain.
A Cincinnati man dis
covered this ether com
pound and nemed it free
zone. Any druggist will
sell a tiny bottle of free
zone for very little cost.
You; apply a few drops di
rectly upon a tender corn
of callus. Instantly the
soreness disappears, then
shortly you will find the
corn or callus so loose
that you can lift it rifihi
off.
Freezone is wonderful.
It dries instantly. It
doesn't eat away the corn
or callus, but shrivels it
TO
un yithout even irritating the skin.
Hard corns, soft corns, or corns
between the toes, as well as painful
calluses, lift right off. There is no
pain before or atferwards. No osre
ness or smarting. Women should keep
a tiny bottle on the dresser and never
let a corn ache twice.
A Soldied’s Will.
MEMPHIS. Tenn.. March 22.—“1f I
should die abroad, my body shall be
cremated and the ashes sent back to
America,’’ i« one of the requests in
the will of Fred Schattenberg, whch
was filed in probate court here. Shat
tenberg directed that his estate be sold
and that each namte f the Old Man’s
Home and Mary Gallway Horne for
Aged Women be gven $25.
Schattenberg stated that the wll was
to effect should he die before the war
was over and peace declared between
tch United States and Germany, other
wise a former will, written October 15,
1916, would be effective.

The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at least
one dreaded disease that science has
been able to cure in all its stages and
that is catarrh. Catarrh being greatly

the foundation of the disease, giving the

THE AMERICUS TIMES-RECORDER.
MORE BOARDING
PLACES WANTED |
BY COMMITTEE
Editor Times-Recorder:
I hate to impose on your good na
ture further about a matter which af
fords neither of us compensation, but
as you have already shown a disposi
tion to d more than “your bit” by
lending your valuable space to the
cause, I feel that you will gladly in
dulge me just a little bit further in
getting the room question straighten
ed out. The committee has a num
ber of names turned in who have
rooms, but no phone number, house
number, street or rate is given. The
committee wishes all porties who have
no phones and who have listed rooms
to send in the address of their homes
either by ’phone, or writing, or else
call at office of the Chamber of Com
merce and give information wanted at
once. All are cautioned that detailed
descriptions of rooms are not neces
sary, but only the following is wanted:
Ist. Name.
2nd. Number of house and name of
street, and whether south, east, north
or west.
3rd. Phone number, if any.
4th. How many rooms.
sth. How many beds to each room.
6th. The rate for each room.
7th. If board can be furnished, and
r-.te per month.
Sth. If rooms can be used for light
housekeeping.
The following is a sample of the
form that should be used.
Ist. Mrs. John Doe.
2nd. No. 264 South Lee Street.
3rd. Phone Number 643.
4th. Two rooms furnished (unfur
i.i.-hed not wanted.)
sth. One bed each room.
6th. SIO.OO per month .each room.
7th. Can (or cannot) board; rate
$30.00 month, board and lodging.
Bth. Can (or cannot) be used for
light housekeeping.
The committee is in need of more
places where board and lodging can
be had and those who can furnish
same are urged to list their names at
once. More rooms for light house
keeping are needed also. I hope
those who have them will come for
ward with their names.
The committee wishes it well under
stood that it is not a room-renting
agency for the general ptublic, but is
only concerned in accommodating and
helping those who are connected with
activities at the aviation camp. It
cannot undertake to secure rooms for
any outside parties. This statement
is made for the reason that a number
of persons have been directed to us
who are in no wise connected with the
camp building people.
All communications should be sent
tc the Chamber of Commerce, City,
either phone or written. If informa
tion is mailed, please mark “Rooms
Department,” on lower left corner of
envelope. Very truly,
G. L. WILLIAMS,
Secretary of Committee.

who never lived with his wife a sin
