From Three Years’ Suffering. Says
Cardui Made Her Well.
Texas City, Tex.—ln an interesting
statement, Mrs. G. H. Schill, of this town,
says: "For three years I suffered untold
agony with my head. I was unable to
do any of my work.
1 just wanted to sleep all the time, for
that was the only ease 1 could get, when
1 was asleep. 1 became a nervous wreck
just from the awful suffering with my
head.
1 was so nervous that the least noise
would make me jump out of my bed. 1
had no energy, and was unable to do
anything. My son, a young boy, had to
do all my household duties.
I was not able to do anything until 1
took Cardui. I took three bottles in all
and it surely cured me of those awful
headaches. That has been three years
ago, and 1 know the cure is permanent,
for 1 have never had any headache since
taking Cardui. ..
Nothing relieved me until I took Cardui.
It did wonders for me.”
Try Cardui for your troubles—made
from medicinal ingredients recommended
in medical books as being of benefit in
female troubles, and 4n years of use has
proven that the book; are right. Begin

MIDDLE AGES ARE
BROUGHT TO LIFE
ROME. March 25.—War memories
the Middle Ages have been renewed
cmong the princely houses of Italy
ly the recent decision of the Roman
civil courts condemning the old and
famous families of Corsini and Barger
inf to restore to the young daughter of
the Prince Cciarra property rights, in
volving a large money in come, vested,
in the ancient order of the Knights of
Malta.
Except among noble or Catholic
families the very existence of the mili
tant religious order of the Knights of
Malta had been frogotten here, yet the
decision of the court has shorn that
large properties still are in the ipos
sesion of this order founded many
centuries ago at Jerusalem and which
successively controlled the islands of
Rhodes and Malta until driven out by
Napoleon.
The lawsuit was brought by Prince
Maffeo Sciarra in the interest of his
daughters. Formerly himself one of
the richest princes of Rome, he had
become so impoverished that he un
dertook several years ago the selling
of automobile insurance in order to
earn a living. In his misfortune he
remembered that his family had once
been prominent in the Knights of
Malta
Then he discovered that owing to
th® great wealth of his own father
and grandfather they had probably
neglected a handsome income of SB.-
000 or ? 10,000 a year due as heirs o'
a Knight of Malta title, an income
which for the (past hundred years had
been enjoyed by his relatives of the
princely houses of Corsini and Barger -
ini Prince Sciarra decided to sue for
the accrued incline.
After two years the court has now
decided that the Prince of Barberinl
and Corsini shall make joint restitu
tion from the year 1819 until 1853.
then that the Prince Corsini shall
make full restitution from 1853 until
1880, and the Bargerinis from 1880 un
til the present time.
Prince Cciarra and his wife and
daughter hav e once more taken their
place among the proud and exclusive
families o f old Rome

WITH NEURALGIA
Use Soothing Musterole
When those sharp pains go shooting
through your head, when your skull ,
seems as if it would split, just rub a
little Musterole on your temples and
neck. It draws out the inflammation,
soothes away the pain, usually giving !
quick relief.
Musterole is a clean, white ointment, ’
made with oil of mustard. Better than u j
mustard plaster and does not blister.
Many doctors and nurses frankly rec- 5
ommend Musterole for sore throat, brc - ;
chitis, croup, stiff neck, asthma, neural- ;
gia, congestion, pleurisy, rheumatism,
lumbago, pains and aches of the back or
oints, sprains, sore muscles, bruises, i
chilblains, frosted feet colas of the
chest (it often prevents pneumonia). It i
is always dependable.

HNNOUNGEMENTS
To The Voters of The Southwestern
Judicial Circuit:
I hereby announce my- candidacy
tor the office of Solicitor General for
the remainder of the unexpired term
of the late Hon. J. R. Williams, the
election to take place in the Septem
ber primaries.
I have been filling by appointment
the first part of said term and am
now asking to be permitted to
serve the remaining two years there
of. If .elected I shall give to the office
the same conscientious and painstak
ing attention that I have heretofore
given it, and I shall sincerely appre
ciate the endorsement and support of
the people of this circuit. Respect
fully JOHN A. FORT.
To the voter of the Southwestern
Judicial Circuit:
1 beg leave to announce my candi
dacy for office of Solicitor General, in
September primary.
If elected I shall perform, with cour
age and fidelity the duties fixed by
law upon the holder of this office.
My conception is that there can be
such policy of its administration, as
that the office will stand as a menace
to wrong-doing, and as well, a posi
tive aid and encouragement to con
structive good and peace to the coun
ties of the circuit.
Every effort will be made to make
practical realization of this concep
tion.
Opportunity for extended service is
the strongest reason for this decision
Will sincerely appreciate and try
hard to justify any confidence an in
terest shown in my race.
Respectfully,
JULE FELTON.

NEW YORK, March 25.—Serious
disorder attended the general strifle
in Berlin during the last week of Jan
uary and the first few days of Febru
ary, according to German newspapers
of that period received here.
For a time the trolley car service
was interrupted in various parts Ber
lin because the strikers had repeated
ly cut the wires. Street car passengers
were attacked, women conductors
were abused—strikers throwing stones
at the women and pulling them from
the cars. Traffic waa blocked by
strikers who ran cars into o n e anoth
er at full speed. Meat stores were
pillaged, bakers were forced to supply
bread without bread cards.
The strike came as a surprise to the
leaders of the social democratic party,
the International Korrespondenz, a
socialistic organ, which stated that the
party leadership had not been consult
ed regarding the strike. the
party leaders were requested by the
strikers to assume charge of the strike,
which they did in an endeavor to end
the strike as soon as possible and to
see to it that the interests of labor
were safeguarded.
The strike temporarily paralyzed all
war industries in Berlin and vicinity,
especially the airplane plants. Th e
Prussian Diet was also affected, as the
compositions and printers there also
joined the strike thus interfering con
siderably with the proceedings owing
to the delay in the printing of bills
and other documents.
