suffered more misery and agony than I
can tell. It was worse than death.
My husband spent hundreds of dollars
for physiolana' prescrtptlous and treat

Somter’s delegation to the state con

tbs prevalence of demooratio harmony.
It Was a “bnslr.ese meeting" conducted
in (business like manner, and was a
anbjeot of history four bonrs after or
ganization was effected.
It was the largest and moat enthusi

been held in Georgia for years.
Everybody seemed in the best of

| Farmers Realize 99,600 From Sale of
WooL
The farmers of Snmter do not raise
sheep for the wool as they formerly
did, while a quarter of mntton is as
much an unknown quantity in the
Americas market as is a quarter of ele
phant. Bnt down in Colquitt connty,
just below ns, the farmers stiok to
sbeep and find it a profitable business.
A day or to ago an Albany wood dealer
went to Tilton and booeht one lot of
60,000 pounds, paying a fraction less
than 19 ots. per ponnd for it. The
sale netted the farmers 19,500 cash,
while another lot of 15,000 pounds
brought a similar prioe or a total of
$12,350. This is almost (?) as good as
raising cotton.

thermometer stood at 123 in the son.
When be stopped at the monument and
