report of the statistician of the depart*
inent of agriculture will show the av<
erage condition of cotton on June 25
to have been 84.7, as compared wit.l
05.1 on May 26, 1802; 81.1 on June 25,
1901; 75.8 on July 1, 1900, and a t
year average of 85.6. With the ex
ception of North Carolina, where there
seems to have been a slight improv.

Big Bomb which Wae to Wind Up

of explosives in celebrating Indepen
