ROBS A STORE AND
STOLE A CASH BOX.
Sneak Thief Made a Syripe of
Money.
ROBBED CHURCH AND ORPHANS
Cash Bos Belong to Baptist Church
Looted While Contribution Box Be
longing to Orphans Home Is Carried
Away and Smashed.
Tho polios ere on the lookout for the
meanest men in Amerions; one whose
oonsoienoe is so badly warped that bis
own dog ibonld refuse to reoognize
him, end while the prospect of arrest is
rather remote this rascal, if caught,
should be oonaigned to the coal mines
for life without even the formality of a
ooort trial.
He is e fellow who robbed a church
and, no doubt, stole money from jlittie
orphans as well.
Bah off-mdee, or rather, crimes,
were committed about the esme time
and, perhaps, by the same party, as it
U hardly possible that two each mis
creants canid ever live here.
The first crime eommitted was the
theft of tbe cash box belonging to Far-
low Lswn Baptist chnroh. The box
was in custody of Mr. George Seig, Jr,
treasurer of tbs oburcb, sud was kept
in s drawer at hie store. Tae box was
securely locked sadoontsiued a cjnsid
erable som in oasb, checks and coliec
tion tickets.
Mr. Seig baa no idea who got tbe box,
or just when it wai taken. It bsd.been
kept in tbe drawer for a looa time, and
someone acquainted with the feet pro
bably swiped it.
Tbe polioe have found uo clue to
this mean church robbery.
Toe other tbeft reported was that of
a glass coutribn ion box from the coun
ter of one ol tbe drugstores here. The
box belonged to one of tbe state or
phans homes and contained a consider
able sum of money. Tae thief oirried
it.swar, (mashed the glass, no doubt,
and stole tbe money belonging to the
little orphans.
It this rasoal is ever canght, which is
not at all likely, the direst punishment
should be given him and in aliopathie
doses.
TO CURE A COLD IN ONE DAY
Take Laxative Bromo Quinine Tablets.
All drnggists refund the money if it
