“PENNSY” BARS CHEWING;
PUTS BAN ON EMPLOYEES.
Altoona, Pa., February 14.—One of
the most far-reaching reforms of the
Pennsylvania railroad went Into effect
when an order was promulgated pro
hibiting all employees of the freight
and passenger stations the use of
tobacco in any form while on duty.
For years smoking has been frown
ed upon, but now chewing comes
under the ban. The new order is
aimed at cleanliness and sanlta-
tlon.
The "Pennsy" is issuing a new book
of rules which shows many changes
to meet new conditions, and to bet
ter safeguard public travel.

proud and be that much better off
financially. If I do not get a prize

for the time and trouble and money
and I will undoubtedly have learned
something that will be of value to me
In after years.
