What Is Heroism.
There are different kinds of heroism,
says is jumping an exchange. To some people it
into the midst of a fight,
and toothers it is the quiet endurance
of everyday troubles.
cImSnon8 because whjy must give up his in
his duty commands,
who must live a life of self-sacrifice, is
a greater hero than the one who in the
enthusiasm of the moment sacrifices
his life for another.
The boy who stood by his admiral
and went down with the singing Eng
lish man of war was a hero who ought
to have a tablet in Westminster Abbey, h! !
where England keeps a record of r j
greatest men, but he was in no respect j
greater than a boy we know, whose ■
father has lately died, and has given
up his hope of a college career to go
iuto business and help support his
mother. The everyday patient, uo
complaining heroes are the truly great
ones.
