SOUTHWEST
The Land of BIG CROPS and
PROSPERITY.
Are you making as much off your farm as you ought? No doubt you are
making all you can. The trouble is the land cost too much. It takes too much mon¬
ey to buy a big farm, and so you are trying to mak a living on a small farm, or
perhaps you are renting one and paying a good share of what you raise, in rent.
Wouldn.t it be better to go where the price of good land i9 so little that you can
own a big farm—where every acre of ground is working for you and all yon raise is
paying you good profits?
There are thousands of acres of fertil land iu the Southwest the line of the
Cotton Belt Route that can be bought for from $3 to $10 an acre. This land is in¬
creasing in value each year.
See The Southwest at Small Cost,
A trip to the Souahwest would convince you that your best interests lay in there.

Watson's Magazine
The leading exponent of Jeffersonian
Democracy, Watson, Edited by Hon. Thos. E.
of Georgia, the Father of Rural
Free Delivery; author of "The Story of
France,’-! “Life of Napoleon,’.’ “Life and
Times of Thomas Jefferson,!.’ “Bethany”,
and other books. Mr. Watson was the
People’s Party nominee for Vice-Presi¬
dent in 1896, and for President in 1904.
He is to-day heading a middle-class
reform movement which is bound to
sweep the country in a short time.
Watson’s Magazine is not a Socialist
publication. It does not stand for
collective ownership of all the means of
production. public Mr. Watson believes in
or government ownership of
railroads, telegraphs and telephones;
in municipal ownership of street rail¬
ways, gas, electric lights, water works,
etc.; and he believes in private owner¬
ship of all industries not natural
monopolies.
The middle class—the home owners,
farmers, small business men and prop¬
erty 1800; owners—won Jackson’s Jefferson’s victory in
Biddle’s won victory over Nick
money power in 1832; won
Lincoln’s victory in I860. But each
time after the flush of victory had died
away, they became careless of their
rights and went to sleep. They have
slept a good portion of the time since
1865, but
Watson’s Magazine is waking them
up. Another great victory is in the
air. Keep in touch with the move¬
ment.
