The following incident actually
occurred.

Several parties are loosing hogs
from cholera, in the Western por¬
tion of the county.
We have never known a
poet to survive the Summer’s heat, '
but we think that it he is . snugly
placed among the geraniums, that
the one that has just budded out
down at Ellaville, may go through
the Whiter.
May be here is the way the cam¬
paign funds are obtained to pay the
defaulters taxes: various clubs are
formed through-out the country,
who have been, and will continue
to pay as dues per week, twenty
live cents per member till after the
President’s election.

Jacksonville looks longingly for
cold weather to end her struggle,
but the w eather does not affect this
