A SAD DEATH.
Alter an illness of a few weeks
M tss Julia Hendtheon passed peace*

7 o’clock at her home near tow; .
She was the youngest, daughter
Mr. and Mrs. R S Henderson and
was only 16 years of age-just e: -
taring into young womanhood with
prospects for a bright future. The
funeral^ was conducted at
Methodist church here
I afternoon, by Rev. J. R. Allen, of
Talking Rock, after which the re
mains were laid to rest in the town
cemetery. Julia was it beautiful
and had a lovableltnd
disposition which endeared her to
all her iriends and associates. She

Death, which Sooner or inter er<

Julia gave her heart to God and
united with the Philadelphia Bap

since her life has been one of
votion and iniselfishneas toothers,
and sin* lias m.w gone to her n
ward in heaven.- She was perfect lv
lusigned to die and her great desire

to meet her where partings are no

“Weep not for death,
‘Tis but a fever stilled,
A paiu suppressed,—a fear at rest,
A solemn hope fulfilled,
The moonshine on the slumbering deop
Is scarcely calmer. Wherefore weep?
Weep not for death!
The fount of tears is sealed,
Who knows how bright the inward light
To those closed eyes revealed?
Who knows what holy love may /ill
The heart that seems bo cold and mill.”
