December, 2020, a vehicle
operated by Adolfo Ramirez
was stopped on 1-75 for
the following too close and
failure to maintain lane.
Deputy Brayton made
contact with the driver.
Ramirez was questioned to
determine if he was safe to
drive. Ramirez gave a story
of traveling through from
Las Vegas and said he was
in Waycross the next day.
During a license check
it was verified Ramirez was
in Texas and not Waycross
on that day. Ramirez said
he was traveling for several
days across the country but
had no luggage. Ramirez vol
untarily opened the trunk
to show the Deputy a gift he
bought for his wife.
The one gift was gift-
wrapped and Ramirez said
Wal-Mart gift wrapped it for
him. The other gift, a pop
corn tin appeared to have
been opened and taped
shut. Ramirez gave consent
to search the container and
inside were foil packages
that felt like U.S. currency.
Another container
was opened and layers of
U.S. currency were found
under a layer of cookies.
The currency was vacuum
sealed and bundled in a
way consistent with drug
distribution. Ramirez stated
the money was not his.
Claimants who may have
an interest in said property

Said property was used in
violation of O.C.G.A, § 9-16-1
et. seq., and 16-13-49 et. seq.

Abraham Leon was inves
tigated to make sure he
was ok to drive. While this
took place Deputy Brayton
utilized a trained drug dog
and walked same around
the vehicle. The dog alerted
on the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle
yielded two locked suitcas
es in the rear of the vehicle
in the area where the drug
dog alerted. Raul Leon
unlocked one of the bags
and said it was his. Both
bags contained five zip lock
bags containing 13 bundles
of U.S. currency which
was packaged in a man
ner consistent with drug
transactions. Both Abraham
Leon and Raul Leon said the
currency was not theirs.
Claimants who may have
an interest in said property
are Abraham Leon and Raul
Leon. Said property was
used in violation of O.C.G.A,
§ 9-16-1 et. seq., and 16-13-49
et. seq. in that the item(s)
was/were used to facilitate

of marijuana. Graham was
asked about this and said
there is no marijuana in
the car. Graham then said
there is a bag of marijuana
with a small amount in it in
the car. A search yielded a
large amount of currency
on Graham’s person, a bag
of marijuana in the car, bag
gies of ecstacy (a controlled
substance) and digital
scales.

December, 2020, a vehicle
operated by Iokeno Taylor
with Cyon Florent as the
passenger, was stopped on
1-75 for following too close
and failure to maintain lane.
Deputy Brayton approached
the vehicle and determined
the vehicle was rented in
the name of Dean Jordan.
The occupants appeared
to be nervous beyond that
of persons involved in a nor
mal traffic stop. The deputy
smelled raw marijuana and
a masking agent/scent from
the vehicle.
The vehicle was
searched and the suitcase
on the rear seat contained
a large amount of loose cur
rency as well as marijuana
residue throughout the bag.
A bag containing packag
ing materials was found.
Taylor attempted to discard
a small bag of marijuana
under the vehicle.
Florent advised the cur
rency came from his auto
business of buying and sell
ing cars.
Florent noted he did not
have a business license. Flo
rent could not answer ques
tions regarding the origin of
the currency, tax filings, or
how many cars he sells, he
changed his story to he was
going to Atlanta to buy a car
but could not name what
type for $8,000.00
The currency was pack
aged, concealed, bundled
in a manner common in the
illegal drug trade, the cur
rency totalled $29,415.00 in
U.S. currency.
Claimants who may have

dan. Said property was used
in violation of O.C.G.A, §

Anthony Redding was called
to a motorcycle accident.
Jeremy Ennis was the
driver. Ennis was load
ing the motorcycle onto a
pickup truck. As the Deputy
approached the pickup he
smelled marijuana. A search
yielded a small amount of
marijuana in the vehicle.
A Crown Royal bag with
$12,900.00 in U.S. currency
was found. Ennis said the
money came from the sale
of his home.
A cell phone was found
at the scene and a search
warrant was issued to
check the contents. Infor
mation from the cell phone
included text messages to
and from Ennis involving
drug transactions. There
was also a video of Ennis
with methamphetamine
and a glass pipe. Ennis has
a criminal history involving
illegal drugs.

driven by Oscar Hugley
with Damarcus Daniels as a
passenger was stopped on
1-75 for following too close.
As the Deputy got out of
his car and approached the
vehicle, it fled crossing all
three lanes and the median.
The chase went into the Ma
con area where the vehicle
wrecked. Daniels fled into
the woods and was later
found. Law enforcement
located a tan Taurus .45 Cal.
Daniels had a large bundle
of U.S. currency on him.
The vehicle contained
4 vacuum sealed bags
containing marijuana (more
than 4 oz.). A Gucci bag
contained a Glock 9mm
pistol. An AR-15 rifle was
located in the vehicle along
with digital scales, several
