LCSO INCIDENT REPORT SUMMARY
®j)g litralti <©a?£tt£ Tuesday, June 15,2021 7A
Compiled from a summary of incident reports
completed by Lamar deputies during the period June
2-8, 2021.
On June 5, Dep. Justyn Weaver met with a man in
the Rose’s parking lot whose car had been hit by grav
el from a passing truck and damaged. The man had no
information on the truck but a report was filed.
On June 6, Dep. Weaver was dispatched to Fuller’s
Trailer Park where a stray dog had attacked and
injured a woman’s cat.
On June 6, Dep. Destiny Valenzuela was dis
patched to Red Oak Dr. regarding a juvenile female
who had run away. A lookout was issued. The mother
reported the child had been sneaking out lately and
visiting friends in Griffin.
On June 7, Dep. Patrick Saunders was dispatched
to a home at 310 Bottoms Road regarding a physical
domestic dispute. He encountered Brandi N. Brady,
34, and her first words to him indicated she “did it”.
She went on to say she had hit and choked the victim,
Michael Nicholson.
Nicholson reported the two argued about their son
who went inside the house. Nicholson said he tried to
stop Brady from entering but she responded violently.
At that point, Brady began hitting him in the face and
head and choking him. Two witnesses, John Mauldin
and Amber Nicholson, backed up Michael Nicholson’s
story.
Saunders informed Brady she was under arrest
and she became aggressive and uncooperative. She
attempted to go toward Michael Nicholson several
times and Saunders used ‘soft hands’ to take her
to the ground and handcuff her. Brady went to jail

On June 7, just after 7:30 a.m., Sgt. Wayman
Henson was dispatched to 310 Walton Road where
Alice Leavell reported she went to feed her dog but
found him dead, having been maimed by other dogs.
She spotted two, large black and brown Rottweilers
running towards her and barking. She went inside and
called 911.
While on the way to the call, Henson had been
advised of another dog attack at 395 Walton Rd.
involving four Rottweilers having attacked a dog the
previous day. One of the attacking dogs was shot on
the scene. The owners said the Rottweilers came
from a home at 138 Red Oak Dr. Henson went there
and made contact with Danielle Banks.
Henson told Banks her dogs may have attacked
and killed dogs on Walton Road. Banks responded
that her dogs had not been out of their pen and she
had video to prove it. Henson asked Banks if she had
three Rottweilers and she responded she had only
two.
At that point, three Rottweilers ran up to the prop
erty, barking aggressively. One was limping and an
other had what appeared to be a hip injury. Another
dog was in a dog house. Henson asked Banks why she
said she had only two Rottweilers. She responded she
thought Henson was “talking about two years ago”.
Henson asked to see the video Banks had spoken
of earlier but she became defensive, refused and said
the dogs were not hers. She said a man on Walton
Road near Brook Road owns Rottweilers and they
must be his. Sgt. Kathryn Knapp of investigations was
summoned to investigate further.
