YATESVILLE BAPTIST
CHURCH BURNED
Wednesday night last week light
ning struck the Baptist church at
Yatesville about midnight and soon
thereafter the beautiful little church
building had been completely de
stroyed.
Quite a rain and thunder storm
came up, the wind also blowing at a
rapid rate, when a sharp flash of
lightning was seen, followed by a
noise that clearly indicated that
lightning had struck some nearby
building. It was discovered that the
steeple of the Baptist church had
been struck and was then in a blaze.
A number of citizens were soon at the
building, getting out the piano, pews,
books, etc., but the building itself
could not be saved.
The burning of the beautiful
church was a sad blow to the faithful
and devoted membership. There was
insurance to the amount of $4,000,
which did not near cover the loss.
The members of the church and citi
zens of the community are already
planning to rebuild. The church was
w r as burned was one of the prettiest
little churches in middle Georgia.

Cause of Appendicitis.
When the bowels are constipated,
the lower bowels or large intestines
become packed with refuse matter,
that is made up largely of germs.
These germs enter the vermiform ap
pendix and set up inflammation,
which is commonly known as appen
dicitis. Take Chamberlain’s Tablets
when needed and keep your bowels
regular and you have little to fear
from appendicitis.
