As The Gazette goes to pres 1 ,
little can be told of the election for
state and county officers. The vote

WE GIVE
AND TAKE...
Advisedly, we mean. We
never get to old to learn,
and trust you take matters of
general interest in the same
light. It used to be that
nothing.short of a pure water
white diamond would scintil
late. But, as you know, most
of the diamonds nowadays
are one dollar stones. But
when the test comes, only the
pure can stand it. '[’here is
no better flour made under
the sun than POSTKLL’S
ELEGANT. Our PANSY
brand is second only to Pos
tells. Our Pansy flour is good
enough, and white enough,
and cheap enough for anybody
under the sun. We get it di
rect from the miller. We have
a written guarantee from the
manufacturers that it is com
posed of nothing but the best
winter wheat. And if you ever
open up a sack, and find it
short of this guarantee, it
would gratify us indeed to
right the wrong. Our Dove
Hams the same way. Our
ice-cured streaked meat the
same way. Our Julliette Meal
the same way. And as for that
matter, anything we sell. We
like to satisfy our customers.
We buy our truck as cheap as
anybody. Our profits are as
small as they can consistently
be. If your grocer sells you
$1.25 worth of goods for $ r .00,
or makes you believe he’s do
ing this, we candidly say, buy
from him ’til the “fit subject”
breaks, then we ll be glad to
satisfy your wants on a policy
basis. Respectfully,
z Reeves Boys
