In this city has seen the advertisement of the fam
ous R & G CORSET in the Ladies’ Home Journal,
Munsey’s Delineator or some other March magazine
and knows, therefore, some important facts about
the corset that does not stretch.
We have in stock a good line of R & G Cor
sets and will be pleased to show them to the “one
woman in seven”—and the other six women also.
The new R&G no 397—the short-long cor
set, is one of our most popular styles, and sells at
the popular one dollar price. We are still in the
lead in the embroideries. No competition for us
in this line or edges, from 5c to fOc. All-overs
—nothing like them in town, 75c to $1.50. Don’t
fail to see them. .

The Boys Home.
The boys who have been with the
Third Georgia Regiment, U. S. V.
have returned home, after a very in
teresting experience in the army ser
vice. They spent a couple of months
very pleasantly in Cuba, and saw
much there that is very interesting to
hear them tell about. The boys seem
to have enough of the service how
ever, and were glad to get home.
Those who were in the regiment from
Barnesville and who have returned
home, are: Mr. Asbury Lambdin, first
sergeant; Messrs. Luther and Earnest
Bush, corporals of Company B. and
Mr Otis Langford, a private of Com
pany B.
It Is Appreciated.
The people of Barnesville have rea
son to feel very kindly to ward Hon.
Clark Howell, editorot the Atlanta Con
stitution, for the interest he is taking in
the Barnesville Chautauqua, especially
in securing Hon. W. J. Bryan to
make the address on “National Day,”
July 4th. Mr. Howell has done every
thing he could do to induce Mr. Bryan
to accept the invitation extended
him bythe Chautauqua directors and
Barnesville greatly appreciates it.
Card Of Thanks.
We want to thank all the dear
friends for their sympathy and kind
ness to us and our little darling Culver,
during his sickness and death. May
God bless them.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Castleberrv.
II I # / and when that time comes
II j f J it is a woman’s duty to
/ / J ft think twice before she
y /1 I answers. She should
—( / \ y think once for herself,
and once for the man who
has chosen her for his life companion.
If she is suffering from a torturing, drag
ging weakness or disease so prevalent with
her sex, she has no right to answer “ Yes ”
until her health is restored. If she does,
she will be wretched and ill hersglf and her
home will be an unhappy one. Dr Pierce’s
Favorite Prescription is a scientific remedy
that cures all weakness, disease, disorder
and derangement of the delicate and im
portant feminine organs. It is not a “cure
all,” but a medicine devised to correct this
one class of disorders and no other. It
has accomplished its purpose in tens of
thousands of cases, as is shown by tens of
thousands of testimonials of the grateful
patients themselves. It imparts vigor and
virility to the entire womanly organism,
and is the best of all nerve tonics and re
storatives. It fits for wifehood and mother
hood. It transforms weak, nervous, de
spondent invalids into healthy, happy
women.
“I was so weak I cofild scarcely walk about
the house,” writes Mrs. Mattie Scruggs, of
Allen's Creek, Amherst Cos., Va. “ Was reduced
to a mere skeleton. I was never free from pain
in the back and head and could not sleep at
night. I bought three bottles of Dr. Pierce’s
Favorite Prescription and ' Golden Medical Dis
covery'and two vials of' Pleasant Pellets.' After
taking these six weeks I felt like anew person :
slept well and gained in Hesh. lam doing all
my own housework and we have nine in the
family.”
rA man or woman who neglects
constipation suffers from slow
poisoning. Dr. Pierce’s Pleasant
Pellets cure constipation. One
little “Pellet” is a gentle laxa
tive, and two a mild cathartic.
All medicine dealers sell them.
No other pills are “just aagood.”
