A DELIGHTFUL EVENING
Three miles east from Donalsonville
on Highway 84 stands the residence
of Mrs. Maggie Hagan and Miss
Pearl Heard, two sisters, and lovely
personalities.
I This house stands on the south side
of the national thorough-fare and is
> guarded by two magnificient live oaks
iof huge proportion: As one approach
: es, the scene is picturesque.
We were delightfully intertained in
I this home Friday evening the 19th
instant. The occasion was the natal
| day celebration of Mrs. Hagan.
The dinner was superb in every de
, tail and enjoyed by us, to the fullest.
After the feast we all spent the
subsequent hours of the evening set
ting arround the festalbord engaged
in the most pleasurable social inter
course.
We met Mrs. Hagan and Miss
Heard soon after coming to this sec
tion of the state and immediately
there sprang up a most unusual friend
ship between us which gains in
.strength as the months go by.
May these two high typed and love
ly women live long and be prosperous..
