Eatonton on June Bth.
Seminole County's 4-H club
champions were selected in
eliminations held in March in
the grammar school. The goal
now is to become district
champions in their respective
projects. For senior 4-H’ers,
the district meeting can be a
stepping stone to the Georgia
4-H Congress in Atlanta and a
chance for state honors, and a
trip to the national 4-H Con
gress in Chicago. Cloverleafs
and juniors will not compete
beyond the district level.
In determining a district
champion, the demonstrations
will count 60 percent. Record
books, which have already
been judged by committees of
county and home demonstra
tion agents, will count forty
percent.
