We think he is unworthy the suf frages of his fellow citizens. , Tragedy at Hazslhnrst We are informed that on Saturday last, B. F. Wilcox shot and killed his uncle A. J. Wilcox, , at Hazelburst. Appling county. The difficulty grew out of a justice court lawsuit about a cow. The deceased was a prominent merchant of Hazelburst, and both were highly respectable j citizens. The slayer is still at large. Pritcliett, ' of the firm of Mcßae & rriteliett, was crossing the bridge over Little Oemulgeo, Just this Hide , of Lumber City, in his buggy, with a car load of , mules, which he had just received from Nash villo, following him, the bridge suddenly gave 1 way. Tlie entire lot, some 12 or 15 in number, were precipitated into the river some twenty or I ' thirty feet. Mr. Pritchett barely escaped, the ' hind wheels of his buggy being behind the I ( break, but a vigorous application of the whip to j i his horse saved him.
