During his penitential probation thereafter he catno across a small bug of red flannel securely sewed within the pillow upon which his reverend head had reposed. The tluecn at Cabbage Soup, Maria Henrietta, queen of the Bel gians, received a letter from the nufor ! tnnate ex-Empresa Carlotta a few days ago asking her to come uud see her ns soon as possible. The queen had her j ponies hitched to the culcche, which | she always drives herself, and set out at : a gallop. Overtaken by a storm, her majesty took refuge in a barrack.
