CAN SCIRRUUS CANCER BE
CURED?
This is a hard question to ansvvss. S.
S. S. has cured thousands of cases of
Skin Cancer, and there have been many
cases of Scinhus Cancer reported cured
by it. We do say that S. S. S. is worth
a trial in any' case of cancer. We ap
pend a statement from Miss. Green, of
| Tallapoosa, Ga,;
Iu 1884 I had a small lump iu my left
breast, which proved to he a cancer.
The first remedy I t ied was to have it
burned off. This did not cure it, for
shottly afterwards it broke out again in
| a much worse form. I then consulted
! our druggist, who advised me to try S
S. S , and after talcing about one dozen
bottles, was comepletely cured, and my
general health was greatly improved.
Tiiis has been over six years ago, and
my cancer has never appealed since uor
has it troubled me in any way. I can
cheerfully recomend Swift’s Specific ic
any one Buffering with cancer.

GIGGLERS IN CHURCH.
Giggling is described in the dictiona
ry as the act of “laughing with sbor.l
catches of breath,” as laughing, titering,
griuuiug. It is silly and childish enoug b
anywhere, but iu euhtcli it is abomina
ble, and yet there is no place where
gighng is more common. It is natural
enough in school girls, but when met
with in young women of nineteen and
twenty, it if, unpardonable. It is fre
queuily characteristic of young men
with incipient mustache, who think they
quuiify themselves for manhood by af
fecting contempt for what ttieit elders
revere. They giggle. It they catch the
eye of an acquaintance, they giggle; if
an old woman rises 100 souu fora hymn,
they giggh ; if a baby cries, they giggle;
if the clergy man cough, they giggle; it
the plate is handed to some who put no
thing in, they giggle; if the choir makes
a mistake, they giggle. Iu fact, nothing
is too insignificant to arrest their notice
and produce a giggle, not even that they
have just sense enough to giggle, be
cause they did giggle aud can giggle.
