EAT LESS MEAT
IE BACK HURTS
Take a glass of Salts to flash Kidneys
if Bladder bothers you—Drink
lots of water.
Eating meat regularly eventually pro
duces kidney trouble in some form or
other, says a well-known authority, be
cause the uric acid in meat excites the
kidneys, they become overworked; get
sluggish; clog up and cause all sorts of
distress, particularly backache and mis
ery in the kidney region; rheumatic twin
ges, severe headaches, acid stomach, con
stipation, torpid liver, sleeplessness,
bladder and urinary irritation.
The moment your back hurts or kid
neys aren’t acting right, or if bladder
bothers you, get about four ounces of
Jad Salts from any good pharmacy;
take a tablespoonful in a glass of water
before breakfast for a few days and your
kidneys will then act fine. This famous
salts is made from the acid of grapes
and lemon juice, combined with lithia,
and has been used for generations to
flush clogged kidneys and stimulate them
to normal activity; also to neutralize ths
acids in the urine so it no longer irri
tates, thus ending bladder disorders.
Jad Salts cannot injure anyone;
makeß a delightful effervescent lithia
water drink which millions of men and
women take now and then to keep tha
kidneys and urinary organs clean, thus
avoiding serious kidney disease.

LYONS TO HAVE ICE
AND COLD STORAGE PLANT
That Lyons is soon to have an ice
and ice cream factory with cold sto
rage plant in connection will undoubt
edly be the most interesting announce
ment yet made to the people of this
vicinity. An industry ot this kind has
been long wished for by the citizens
as well as the people of the entire
county and this section of the state.
This combination plant is to be
made possible by Mr. W. P. C- Smith
and will be located on his farm just
one mile from Lyons on the same site
with the Magnolia Pecan and Stock
Farm. The date for beginning of this
plant has not been made known to
the public at this time, but just an
assurance from Mr. Smith that this
is his plan means that it will be done
to a finish.—Lyons Progress.
