about smallpox in our community.
We are sorry to note that Mrs.
Florrie Willis is critically ill at this
writing.

W. A. Shiver and wife have re
turned from Pensacola, Fla., where
they have been visiting Mr. and
Mrs. Blitoh.

ings going up in our section. That’s

Misses Nannie Salter and Bettie
Dees returned last week from Bain-
bvidge where they visited the form
er’s sister, Mrs. T. L. Newsom.

Brinson made a business trip to
Cairo Saturday.
Our school is progressing nicely
under the skillful management of
Prof. J. P. Swann and Miss Nannie
Salter.
Dave Shiver, of Ty Ty,Ga., visited
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron
Shiver last week.
Ivy Malloy attended to business
in Cairo Saturday.

er in the loss of their little daugh- (

J. M, Sasser made a business trip
to Cairo Monday.
Lee Booth made a flying trip to
St. Augustine, Fla., and back, and
reports bad luck, having had his
money stolen from him while gone.

advice.

Emory Broom visited Arthur Lee

T. J. Braswell is on the sick list
at present. We hope him a speedy
recovery.
Mias Belle Broom is having a
swell time with an abscess on her
throat. She says it’s no good feel
ing and I guess she knows.
Prof. Marsh has moved to town,
but the boys don’t seem to like their
new home as well as they did their
old one in the country though it
may be the girls they like so well,
not the old home. Is it so, boys?
Andrew Holton visited Emory
Broom Saturday night.
