The petition of C. A. YatiDuaco, I!. G.
Cannon, \V. O. Jones, J. D. Wight W. S.
Wight and J. S. WijdU, respectfully shows:
1st. That they desire for themselves,
I heir, associates and successors to be in
corporated and made a body politic under
the r.nmc and style of (he CAIRO PECAN
SALES.COMPANY, for tho period of
twenty years.
2nd. Th * principal office of said
company shall be in the CJity of Cairo,
state and county aforesaid, but >he peti
tioners desire the ri»ht t o cstablisli branch
offices within this state dr elsewhere
whenever the holders of a majority of the ! tided, of tl
stock may so determine.
3rd. The object of said corporation is
pecuniary pain to it.rdf and its shareholder

eral Assembly of Georgia, and it is

same, that Article G, Section 13, Para
graph 2, of the Constitution of Georgia,
Georgia, as amended by the act of

3, 1910, and duly ratified by the poop c

hereby amended by inserting the words

ever, that the Counties of Clarke,-Floyd.
Sumter, Muscogee, Bibb, Chatham, Ful
ton and Richmond shall pay from tl cir
respective County Treasuries to the .Su
perior Court judges of the cir nit of
v.diieh they''arc a. part, and tho County
of Fulton to the. judge of the Stcr.e
Mountain circuit, or the judge of such
other circuit as may hereafter be -re
quired to regularly preside therein, far
additional services rendered in the .Su
perior Court of Fulton County such
sums, as will, with the salaries paid each
jud^a from"the State Treasury, make a
salary of $5,000 per annum to each
judge[ and said payments arc declared

agreed to by two-thirds of the mem

one or more of the newspapers in each
Congressional District far two months
immediately, preceding, the next , gen
eral election, and the voters thereat shall
have writ ten or printed on their tickets

prescribo a salary for such office, in ad
dition to the salary prescribed in para
graph 1 of this section of tills Article,
and without.regard to the uniformity of
such salaries In the various circuits;-
and shall have the further power to de
termine wlmt disposition shall be made
of the fines, forfeitures and fees accru
ing to the office of Solicitor Genera!, in
any such Judicial Circuit, where tho
fees are abolished;’’ so that said para
graph 2, of said section, of said Article,,
when so amended, will read as follows:
“Paragraph 2. The General Assembly
may at any time, by a two-thirds vote
of cacli branch, prescribe other and dif
ferent salaries for any or all' of the''
ul.ove officers, but no such change shall
affect tiie efficers then in commission;
Provided, however, That tho General As
sembly shall have power, at any time,
by ,a majority vote of each branch, to
abolish tiie fees at present accruing lo
tiie office of Solicitor General, in any
particular Judicial Circuit, and in lieu
thereof, to prescribe a salary for such
office, in addition to tho salary pro
scribed in paragraph 1 of this section of
lids Article, and without regard to tlie
uniformity of such salaries in the va
rious circuits; and shall have the fur
ther power to determine what disposi
tion shall be made of tiie fines, for
feitures and fees accruing to tiie office
of .Solicitor General^ in any such Judi
cial Circuit, where the fees are abol

.Sec. 2. 13e it further enacted, that
if thia amendment shall r>e agreed to by
two-thirds of tiie members of the Gen
era I Assembly of each Jloiuse, the same
shall be entered on their Journals with
tiie yeas and nays taken thereon, and
tiie Governor shall cause tiie amend
ment to be published in one or more of
tiie newspapers in each Congressional
District for at least two months imme
diately preceding tiie next, general elec
tion, and the same shall be submitted to
tiie people at the next general election,
and the voters thereat shall have writ
ten or printed cm thc’.r ballots “For rat

as now provided by law in elections for
members of the General Assembly, then
.said amendment shall become a part of
said Article G, h’ection 13, Paragraph 2,
of Rie Constitution of this State, and
thoVjGovernor shall make proclamation
thereof. *
See. 3. Be it further enacted, that
all laws and parts of- laws in-conflict
with tills act be, and the sum.o arc,
hereby repealed, -

ernor of said State, do issue this my
proclamation hereby declaring that tho
foregoing proposed umendincut to the
Constitution is submitted for ratifica
tion or rejection , to the . voters of the
