South 6a. Conference Is in
Session At Thomasville
Thomasville is the Mecca of all
South Georgia Methodist this week.
The South Georgia Conference
opened its sessions there Wednes
day moaning and will continue
through Sunday and into Monday
sometime when the appointments
for the coming year will be an
nounced. It goes without saying
that Thomasville will prove her
self a pelightful host for the Con
ference as she never does things by
halves. .
Bishop Candler who is presiding
over the conference this year will
preach twice duriug its sessions,
once on Thanksgiving Day and
agpin at the regular m'orning hour
on Sunday. There will be many
other notablo sermons and address
es during the conference.
No doubt many of the Cairo
people will avail themselves of the
opportunity and attend some of
the sessions of the conference,
