Public, that he has just contracted for, and got into
oneration, anew Stage Line, from Pendleton, South Car
olina, viaCamcsville, Georgia, to Gainesville, Georgia
under the following regulations, viz :
Leave Pendleton every Monday morning—arrive at
Carnesville the same night—and at Gainesville on Tuej
day night.
Leave Gainesville every Thursday morning—arrive at
Carnesville the same night, and at Pendleton on Friday at
5 o’clock, P. M.
The abovecomple’es a line of Stages from Salem North
Carolina, to Lunipkin Court House Georgia, in the im
mediate vicinity of the Cherokee Goldmines. It is, also
the most direct route from North Carolina, or the upper
part of South Carolina to the Gold Region in Georgia; as
it is intersected by Cross Stages, both at Carnesville and
Gainesville.

main, and tail, six years old, fifteen hands three and a half
inches high, of uncommon fine limbs, muscle, bone and
action. Tie has been introduced to this State upon high
recommendation, with a view to improve the stock of
Southern horses—and his high origin justifies the expec
tation that this object may be accomplished. He wa
got by the imported Bagdad Arabian, (who was sold in
New York by Mr. ‘larclay for SB,OOO,) —his dam Rosa
Carey, was by Sir Arch'—his grand darn Sally Jones, by
imported Wrangler—who was by imported biomed the
sire of Sir Archy. The Pedigree of Gvinsrrrc is not on*
\vfirst rate but authentic. (See American Turf Register,

I HAVE now in the hands of the Engraver, which
will be completed by the first of November next,
general and accurate Map of the Cherokee Country,
drawn from the retumß of the District Surveyors. Ow
ing to the great number of Lots, into which the country
has been divided, particularly the Gold Region, and the
large dimension of the sheet it will require, to have all
those numbers distinctly and accurately laid down, I hair
thought it advisable tolorin the Mcp into separate ana
detached Sections ; which I designate as Gold Map and
Land Map.
All the LandOistricts in the Territory are laid dealt ]
on one sheet, and constitute a distinct and sc penile Map
by themselves.
The Districts leserved and surveyed as Gold District?,
arc divided into three sheets or Maps. Districts No. 1,
2,3, 4, 5,11,12, 13, 14, and 15, ot the first section, form
he first Alan.
Districts No. 1,2, 3,14,15, 16,17 18, 19, 20,21, anil
22, of the second section, form the second Map.
Districts No. 1,2, 3, 4,17, 18, 19, 20,21, and 22, ofthc
third section, and Districts No. 1,2, 3, 16, and 17, of the
fourth section, form the third Map. On these Maps will
he found each District in the Tcrritorv, with every sqouf
Lot of Land and Fraction distinctly laitidown and number
cd—all M ountains, Rivers, Creeks, Branches, Roads, Fer
ries, &c. are correctly and faithfully delineated.
The Map will he handsomely engraved, printed on
strong silk paper, coloured and put up in morocco case?,
