Making a Good School.
A news item in last week’s En¬
terprise concerning the Flint Hill
school, contained something worth
noticing and considering.
The people in the Flint Hill
school territory do not depend
upon the public funds altogether
for the support of their schools
but augment it by their own cash
oontributions.
This insures that section having
a good school and their children
being given a good education. Our
people cannot raise the standard
of education too high'. The chil¬
dren ot today need the very best
educational advantages, especially
in the country schools where tbe
educational foundation is laid.
Education is the foundation c{
successful Jives and every
nity should see to it that its school
is of a high standard,
and capable of giving good
To secure such results the
must keep in close touch with
local school anti support it in
ery way necessary.
Do not be too easily
with your school. Sea that
grows constantly better and
the teacher with yonr interest
your money, if it is necessary.
