Party.
Miss Dessa Hays entertained the
Young Ladies Social Club last
Saturday afternoon with a beauti¬
ful Heart Party, at her lovely
home.
The house was decorated with
exquisite taste and the heart idea
carried out artistically m every
detail. The score cards were red
hearts aud after a very interesting
game of heart-dice, delicious re¬
freshments were served.

The Benefits Provided by the Independ¬
ent Order of Forresters.
The Insurance or Mortuary Benefit.
The Order issues Certificates or Policies for In¬
surance for $500, $1000, $2000. $3000. $4000 or
$5000 and a special policy of $260 for women only.
A Total Disability Benefit on Account of
Accident or Disease
If a member through sickness or accident becomes
totally the order and permanently disabled his payment to
and permanently ceases, on disabled, being adjudged thus totally
and he is paid one half
of his insurance in five annual installments. The
balance is paid to tiis beneficiarv at bis death.
A Total Disability Benefit on Account
of Old Age
After the member reaches the age of 70 years (a)
the Oid Age D sabilitv benefit, or (b) the Old Age
Pension and Burial Benefit, at the option of the
manently member, on disabled. b- ing adjudged thus totally and per¬
(A) The Old Age Disability Benefit
L- $60, $11)0. $200. $300 $400 or $500 according
to the Martuary Benefit held, and is paid annually
(or 10 years; in the event of death occuring before
the 10 am ual payments are made,the unpaid balance
will be paid to thu benefit: ary ot the the deceased

(B) The Old Age Pension and Burial
Benefit
Is a stipulated sum, graded according to the
amount ot Mortuary Benefit held and the age at
which disab'ed ihe member acciurrt is;adjudged totally and perman¬
ently on <>t old age(,set out in sec¬
tion 158 (21) of the Constitution and L;.ws of the
Order), payable annually thereafter; and $100 paya¬
ble at the the death jut the member. The follow¬
ing table i-hows the and annual pension for life to these
adjudged totally permanently disabled by rea¬
son ot old ages between 7(1 and 75 years
