Mr. Ben Simms, of Macon, was in
the city last week on business.

Mr. W. H. Aaron left Sunday for a
pleasure trip to Greensboro, N. C.

been confined to her bed for more
than a month with a lame foot is able
to be out again.
Miss Roberta Fox has returned to
Covington after a prolonged stay in
Virginia and has resumed her duties
in the High School.

Atlanta where she will spend a few

Miss Mary Lewis, who has been in
Houston, Texas several months with
relatives is spending a few* days in the
city the guest of her sister, Miss Susie
Lewis.
Mrs. Bagley who has been the guest
of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Wright
for some time returned to her home
in Fayetteville last week after a very
pleasant visit.
Mrs. J. H. McRee and daughter,
Miss Etta, have arrived in the city
and will make their future home with
