Conversation
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks
in all circumstances; for this is God’s wulfor you in
Christ Jesus.” I Thessalonians 5:16-18
The other day my mom was carrying on a conversation with a
friend of mine about one of my personal experiences and speak
ing for me. I love my mom but I got frustrated. She was even an
swering questions for me and not including me in the decision
making process. She said stuff like, “I’m sure Chad will be okay
with that.” I was standing right there and yet I wasn’t included in
the conversation.
But, isn’t that how we treat God at times? We know that He is
always with us and yet we seldom acknowledge Him or include
Him in the conversation.
Praying “CONTINUALLY” isn’t about speaking to God in a pro
fessional, formatted prayer. Praying continually is about includ
ing God in our conversations and in our day-to-day activities.
Imagine how much seasoned with grace and love our days would
be if we were in continual communion with the Father.
