MARTIAL FOR CAVALRYMEN.

Smith decided to day to order a court-
martial to convene at Guyton, Effing
ham county, for the purpose of trying
members of the First 8Quadron, First
regiment of State cavalry foi; alleged
disorder while returning home from
the Chtckamauga encampment,, July
23. It is said that a score or more
of the cavalrymen are Involved. Among
the acts charged are shooting guns
from the train, resulting in a negro
being Seriously injured at Rex Station
on the Central Railroad.

Robertson, of Baltimore, who was
shot on tho board walk while In com
pany with Mrs. Williams a few nights

pital. Efforts were made last night
to get an ante-mortem statement, but
the physicians will not let him bo
questioned.
Robertson's wife, who is now with
