BOND ELECTION
TO BE HELD ON AUGUST 23RD,
1910.
State of Georgia—County of Ware.
Notice 1b hereby given to the quali
fied voters of Ware County, Georgia,
that the board of commissioners of
roads and revenues of said county
of Ware have called an election to be
held at the several voting precincts
In the County of Ware on Tuesday
the 23rd, day of August, 1910 within
the legal hours for holding elections,
to determine whether the qualified vot
ers of the County of Ware will assent
by the requisite two thirds majority
to the issue of the following bonds:
First. One Hundred and Fifty
Thousand Dollars of bonds of the
County of Ware of State of Georgia
of the denominations of One Thous
and Dollars each, bearing interest at
the rate of 5 per centum per annum,
the principal of said bonds to run 30
years from the date thereof, and to
be paid in gold coin of the United
States of America of the present stan
dard of weight and fineness. Said
interest to he paid annually in New
York City, State of New York, and
bonds when paid to he paid in New
York city, state of New York. If
said issue of bonds is assented to by
the requisite vote, an annual tax shall
thereafter be levied beginning with
the year 1911 and running through ibe
next 29 years, and collected by iho
authority of the board of commission
ers of roads and revenues of said
County of Ware on all the taxable
property within said County of Ware
sufficient in amount to pay $7,500 in
terest per annum, and $5,000.00 per
annum of the principal of said bonds,
and the funds so raised annually on
account of interest to be applied on

issue of said bonds, and the fund so
raised annually on account of th.

Ware County."
Second. Thirty Five Thousand
f$»7 (00) Dollars of bonds of the
County of Ware, State of Georgia of
the denomination of One Thousand
Dollars each, bearing interest at the
rate of 5 per centum per annum the
principal of said bonds to run for 30
years from the date thereof, and to
be paid in gold coin of the United
States of America, of the q^esent

Interest to he paid annually in New
York City, State of New - York, and
bonds when paid to be paid In New
York City, State of New York. If
said issue of bonds is assented to by
the requisite vote, an annual tax
shall thereafter be levied beginning

the authority of the board of com
missioners of roads and revenues of
said County of Ware on all the taxa
ble property within said County of
Ware sufficient in amount to pay One
Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty
$1,750) Dollars interest per annum,
and One Thousand One Hundred and
Sixty Seven $1,107) Dollars, per an
num of the principal of said bonds,
and ’ the fund so raised annually on
account of interest to be applied only
to the payment of interest on the
Issue of said bonds, and the fund so
raised anntJy on account of the prin
cipal of said hoods shall be kept In
a sinking fund for that purpose and
applied at the maturity of said bonds
to the payment thereof. The pro-

Dollars of bonds of the County of
Ware, State of Georgia of the denomi
nation One Thousand Dollars each,
bearing interest at the' rute of 5 per
centum per annum, the principal of
said bonds to run for 30 years from
the date thereof, and to be paid in
gold coin of the United States of
America of the preseat standard of
weight and fineness, said interest to
be paid annually in New York
City, State of New York,
and bonds when paid to be paid in
New York City State of New lurk.
If said issue of bonds is assented to
by the requisite vote an annual tax
shall thereafter be levied beginning
with the year 1911 and running
through the next 29 years, and col
lected by the authority of the board
of commissioners of roads and reve
nues of said County of Ware, o n all

ty of Ware diffident in amount to
pay Two Thousand ($2,000) Dollars
interest per annum, and One Thous
and Three Hundred and Thirty-three

and the fund so raised annually on
account of interest to be applied on

Voters at said election opposing the
issue of such bonds shall have writ

following words: "Against the Issue
of Forty Thousand ($40,000) Dollurs
of bonds for school buildings in the
County of Ware."
The election shall be held at the
several voting precincts within the
limits of the County and shall be
held In the same manner anj under
the same rules and regulations tba<
elections for officers of said County
are held, and the returns shall be
made to the commissioners of roads
and revenues of the said County of
Ware who will i ntbe presence and
together with the several managers
consolidate said returns and declare
the result.

well, all of said County, respectfully
showetb:
1. That they desire to be Incorpor
ated under the corporate name and
s<*ie of the “TRUSTEES OF THt
YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSSO
CIATION OF WAYCROSS, GEOR
GIA/’ said corporation to continue for
Twenty Years (20), with the usual
privilege of renewal; and the Young-
Men’s Christian Association of Way-
cross, Georgia, shall have power by
vote at any regulnr meeting to fill va
cancies in this Board of Trustees from
the membership of some of the Evan
gelical churches in Waycross, Georgia,
provided that not more than three
(3) shall at any time be from the
same denomination, and that all future
Presidents of Youug Men's Christian
Association of Waycross, Georgia,
shall be while in office members ex-
officio of said Hoard of Trustees, ex
cept i n odso where office of President
of the Association shall be conferred
upon a member of said board when
the number shall consist of nine (9).
2. A number of persons having sub
scribed and agreed to donate n fund
for ihe purpose of providing a build
ing for the Young Men’s Christian As
sociation of Waycross, Georgia, and
to carry o n the work of said Associa
tion, a part of it being actually paid
in, and said Young Men’s Christian As
sociation having chosen and appointed
your petitioners as Trustees to take
charge of and collect said funds and to
see that the purposes for which It was
subscribed and donated are properly
carried out; and to that end the Young
Men's Christian Association having
directed your petitioners to cause
themselves to be made a corporation
upon the terms, stipulations and res
trictions expressed in this petition,
the said petition is field for the pur
pose of acting under said appointment
and instructions, the domicile or place
of business of said corporation to be
in the City of Waycross, in Ware
County, Georgia.
3. The object and particular busi
ness of said corporation will therefore
be to collect and to receive said funds
and subscriptions hereafter subscrib
ed or hereafter to be subscribed, or
such property as may be donated to it
by gift inter vivos, or will or as may
be otherwise acquired, or any natural
increase from interest or otherwise
on their investments, and to purchase
and to hold such real estate as may
be necessary for tho purpose intended
and to erect thereon and equip such
building or building* as may bo deem
ed advisable, to be used and occupied
by the said Young Mens Christian As
sociation of Waycross, Georgia, where
Jt shall carry oh the business and
work of said Association as indicated
in its constitution and by-laws. Said
corporation shall have full power to
carry out the objects for which it 13
created, as above expressed, and to
purchase, receive, lease, rent, and to
hold any nnd all property, real or
personal, which may be acquired by It,

and profits thereof, for the purpose of

4. The property held by said corpor
ation to be created under this petition
Is to be leased to the Young Men's
Christian AssodVJon of Waycross,
Georgia, at a rental of'one dollar ($1)
per year, and in consideration of the
low rate of the lease all taxes, assess
ments, insurance and expenses neces
sary and incident to the preservation
and care of the building or buildings
shall be paid from tbe income of tbe
said Young Men’s Christian Associa
tion of Waycross, Georgia.
5. Tbe corporation to be created un
der this petition is to be and remain
a separate and distinct bedy corporate
and person in law from said Young
Men’s Christian Association.
6. Tbe by-laws or rules of said cor
poration to be created in accordance
with this petition shall be in harmony
with tbe constitution and by-laws of
the Young Men’* Christian Associa
tion of Waycross, Georgia, and said
corporation shall have power to sell/
convey or exchange any real or person
al property held by It for said Associa
tion upo 0 the request of tbe board of
Directors of said Association,
provided the funds received
from such »ale, exchange or convey
ance must be used only in providing
other property for tbe same purpose
for said Association.
7. Said corporation shall have pow
er to borrow money atid to execute
notes, debentures or other evidence?
of indebtedness for farce, and like
wise to issue negotiate and sell the
bond3 of said corporation, bearing -ucu
rate of Interest and containing such
terma as may be deemed proper and to
secure, payment cf such notes, do*
benures bonds or oher obligations of
said cc ‘poration by giving and execut
ing mortgages, deeds of trust, pledges,
or otter satisfactory form of security
upon all or any of tbe property, rea^ or
personal or both, ot said corporation
or otherwise, as may be deemed ex
pedient or advisable.
8. No intoxicating liquors are ever
to be sold cr used and no game of
chance permitted upon any 'property
purchased withthe funds herein refer
red tc or held by said corporation.
9. Said corporation shall also have
power to contract and be contracted
with, to sue and be sued, to enforce
good order, ami have all other rights,
powers, privileges, franchises and im-
munitles necessary for carrying out
the objects ami purposes of said cor
poration, together with those common
and incident to corporations general
ly under the law, and the same being
In all respects eleemosynary in its
character, and not for personal gain
or profit to the members, it is to have
no capital stock, and the contracts of
the corporation are to be binding on
it In its corporate capacity alone, and
not in any sense or manner upon the
members Individually.
10. Your petitioners pray the grant
ing of an order investing them and
their successors to be appointed ns
heretofore provided, with the corpor
ate powers aforesaid and creating a

Whereas, the General Assembly at
its session 1910 proposed ;.n amend
ment to the Constitution 't tills State,
as get forth in an Act appro*, ed Au
gust, Cth, 1910, to-wit:
AN ACT.
To bo entitled an act to amend Par
agraph 1 of Section 13 .if article 6 of
tho Constitution of the Slate of Geot-
gia regulating the sauries of the
Judges of tho Supreme and Superior
Courts by providing for tho payment
from the County Trea* ies of Chat
ham, Fulton and Richmond Counties
to the Judges of the Superior of the
Circuits to which said Counties be-
long, und lo the Judge of the Stone
Mountain Circuit, or tho Judge of such
utbpr circuit as may hor.‘after Le re
quired to regularly preside in Fulton
Superior Court, of additional coin pen-
sat (on, and to ratify, vaifdute and
confirm the original and amendatory
Acts of the General Asaembly regulat
ing tho salaries of Judges of the Su

, Section 1. Be It hereby enacted
by authority of the Genoral Assembly'
of Georgia that Paragraph 1 of Sec
tion 13 of Article 6 of tho Constitution
of the State of Georgia be amended by
adding to gucj) paragrnpn of said Sec
tion ti»j following proviso:
Provided however, that, the Coun
ties of Chatham, Fulton end Rich
mond shall pay from their respective
County treasuries to ihe Superior
Court Judges of tbe Circuit ot which
they are a part and .ho County of
Fulton to the Judge f tho Stono
Mountain Circuit, or to the Judge of
such other Circuit as nay hereafter
be required to regularly preside there
in, for additional services tendered
in the Superior Court* f.i Fulton
County, such Bums as will with the
salaries paid each Judge from tho
State Treasury make a .’alary of $5,-
000.00, per annum to ea.’h Judge; and
said payments are declared to be a
part of tho Court exposes of such
Counties, such payments to be made
to tbe Judges now in fllce as well
as their successors.

pensation of Judges of the Superior
Courts for service* rendered outside
