JOSEPH BLACKSHEAR DEAD.
Thomasvllle, Oa.. Jan. 13.—Thu
death of Joieph Blackahear took place
at Mi residence In thia city last qight.
He suffered a stroke of paralysis
t.'vttal month, ago and never re
covered from the effect of It. It even
tually earning his ^eath. He was a
native of Thomas county and was
born at the old family homestead
Feb. 3, 1867. Moving with his fami
ly to Thomasvllle.' later, practically
his whole life had been spent here.
He'Is survived by his wife and one
ton. Joseph Blackthear, Jr., and two
sisters. Mrs. P. N. Harley of Way-
cross and Mias Bessie Blaekshear of
this city. The funeral services wtu'
be conducted tomorrow morning from
the residence.
