Speaking of chickens Judge Broy- I Ies yesterday rendered a very Inter esting decision after hearing a case I glowing out of a quarrel between two neighbors over their chickens. It ap peals I’nat J. H. Jordon of 23 Bender I street, was arraigned on complaint of one of his. neighbors named White I to testify that Jordon had baited a I trap in his yard with cord and caught bis (White’s) chickens and killed I them. Judge Broyles dismissed the case against Jordon with the follow- | ing decision: “If your neighbors chickens enter I your flower or vegetable garden and I you do not want them there, you have perfect right to catch them, pull I off their heads and throw them Into I the street.” WHAT DOES THI8 MEAN? A story published from Macon says I that whiskey dealers Who left Geor gia at the pasaage of the prohibition laws have leased their old stores in Macon, beginning July 1, and that they are preparing to do business In this state again.
