Kings Daughters held Thursday af
ternoon. a report of the Christmas
work was read. The Kings Daugh
ters desire in this manner to express
their heartfelt thunks and apprecia

We know hearts were made glad aud

Douglas, Ga., Jan. 27.—A marriage
of much interest to Douglas and
South Georgia occurred last night at
the home of the bride, when Mrs.
Frank L. Sweat widow of the late F.
L. Sweat, was quietly married to Mr.
John Moore, a prominent insurance
man of Douglas. Rev. T. S. Hubert,
pastor of the Baptist church, officiat
ed. The marriage came as a great
surprise to the friends of the con
tracting parties.
