In reference to the article I pub-

wish to state that some people nav*a

to the LaMarcelier cigar factory. Mr.
Simi, the proprietor of this factory,
understands the. article to mean that
I wish to injure his business. I wisn
to state emphatically that such wa«
not my .intention. In a very few

Ihe managers of both are friends or

my intention than to do either of
them any injury. Hoping that this

that I have made, I am,

Now they ask me to make a free
flight, with an attachment on the
aeroplane. I will never consent
that. I do not owe a cent to any
body 1 nthls’city, I have done more
than my duty, and will do only what
I choose to do, and this Is—if some
one in Waycross, get off the attacn
men on the aeroplane once for all,
and through lawful proceedings pro
tect me against any troubles with
Berger, which in his dishonest way he
ma yhave, then I will stay in Way-
cross up to the 18th of March, and try
my best to make a flight free to every
body ns soon as possible, provided
suitable grounds are provided, other
wise, I will get protection outside of
Waycross, will get aeroplane released
and leave Waycross without any other
attempt to fly.
I hope that the people of Waycross
will understand my situation and will
agree that I am right, and where the
truth lie* between Berger ana my
self, as I can prove in a few minutes
every statement 1 make, which Ber
ger cannot, as his statements are un
true, and he swore falsely to obtain
the attachment.
