FINISH FOR 8ENATOR8HIP.
Atlanta, O*., March 18.—"You may

This emphatic and unequivocal
statement was given your correspon
dent by Senator Joseph M. Terrell at
his home, 121 Juniper street.
Since Senator Terrell was seized
with the attack in Washington sev
eral weeks ago, there has been per
sistent rumors afloat over the state
that he would retire from the race on
account of his condition and through
the urgent wishes of his family phy-1
slcians. Recently these rumors have
gained fresh Impetus from various
publications and from the whisperings
ot persons perhaps keenly Interested )
In Senator Terrell’s retirement.
In order to clear the atmosphere
and get down to facts your corres
pondent had an Interview wfta Sen
ator Terrell. He was told of these
rumors, and how the growing Impres
sion of his possible withdrawal from
the race might ho Injuring his chan-
