THE fitzcerald AVIATION MEET. The Fitzgerald Aviation Meet Is like the Valdosta and Waycross meets, a complete failure, as far as flying Is concerned. It is a strange thing that the promotor or promotors cl this enormous swindle can go from town to town and continue to f ( ol all the people. We could excuse the men from flying In Valdosta but there was no excuse for them not fly ing In Waycross, except the cold feet they possessed. These aviators, who came as “high" flyers, to “soar*’ over Valdosta, Way- cross, and are now at Fitzgerald try ing to "soar". These men who flew 2,000 feet in the air at Waycross? Can’t they really fly? It Is a question if these would-be-bird-men ever got over 50 feet off of the ground, and then light with a bump, as It wert», in Waycross. Not the graceful glide at* described by other aviators who have been flying In other parts of the country.
