State College. Pa.. Sept. 19.—A
school for millers, said to be the first
ever opened In the United States, has
been established and wit? begin Its
sessions at the Pennsylvania State
College tomorrow. The school I* to
be under the direction ot B. W. Hed
rick, the college instructor In milling
ami mill engneerin?. Applications
for admission to the school have been
received from prospective millers all
over the country.

Saratoga, X. Y„ Sept. 19.—Masons
of highest degree from many States
assembled In Saratoga today at the
opening of the annual sessions of the
Supremo Council, thirty-third degree
Scottish Rite Masons. The business
of the meeting will occupy three
days.
Mr. J. H. Smith, a former resident
of Waycross, but who is now engaged
in the turpentine business at Chester,
Ga., returned home thi3 morning after
a short visit in the city.
The old Air Dome is being torn
down today. The fixture? were ship
ped to Jesup where Mr. Fred Murphy,
formerly of Waycross, will open a
moving picture show.
