turned this morning from Charlotte,
N. C., where they went to attend the
funeral of Mr. CharllcMoore, who
died Saturday, the (yneral taking
place on Monday. Mr. nnd Mrs. Geo.
Barnes will remain In Charlotte for
some days.
The Bunn-Bell Orchestra has recelv
ed and accepted an Invitation to play
at the annual banquet of the Knights
of Pythias lx>dge at Douglas on Nov.
20th. The principal- address at the
banquet, which will be an elaborate
affair, will be delivered by Congress
man W. G. Brantley, Prof. E. J.. Ray,
of Bunn-Bell Institute, will also delirer
an address at tho banquet.
