from bla home, about five miles south
west of Tifton, nearly twenty-five
years ago, and of whom not a trace
bas since been discovered. Mr. Den-
by went to Albany on business, tber;

the Albany depot to return home, Mr.
Denby did not show .up, and from that
day to this, no one who knew him, so
far nl is publicly known, has evei
seen his face. He was a man strictly
temperate, devoted to bis family and
unusually affectionate, especially with
his children, of which be had several
small ones at the time of his djaap-
poarance. He was in robust health
