gia, succeeding Governor Hoke Smith,
resigned, and to hold office until such
time as he Is superseded by tbd gov*
ernor to he selected (n -the approach-
’ Ing special election.
Governor Slaton requires no 'Intro
duction to the people. Aa a leading
citizen of Atlanta, as member and
speaker of the house of repregenta*
lives, as state senator and president
of the senate, not to cite his high
stand at the bar In this state, he' oc
cupies a commanding i>osition in the
legislative record of the state.
Vigorous, straightforward and manly,
he is a splendid type of Georgian, and
may be relied upon to discharge the
duties of the high office to wUTcii he
’lias been called with signal ability
ami fidelity to trust. It is n practiced,
and not an apprentice, hand at tbe

of Georgia are to be congratulated
that be Is to hold tenure Mi the states

THE USE OF CEMENT IS A MATTER OF COST, NOT OF PRICE.
80UNDS STRANGE, MAYBE, BUT LISTEN:
PRICE IS WHAT YOU PAY FOR AN ARTICLE, IT ENDS THERE.
COST IS REPRESENTED BY WHAT YOU GET, THE SERVICE AND
SATISFACTION.
So while tho price of cement walk may be greater than of wood, the
cost Is far less. There are many places around every home and es
pecially on the farm, where It Is simply a waste of money to use any
thing but cement. Ask us how cem ent will save you money and then
see how we will save you money on cement. ...
