The Ladies' Aid Society of the
Presbyterian church met yester
day afternoon at the home of Mrs.
G. W. Barnes on Jane street
About fifteen ladies were present
and an interesting meeting was
held. Report was made on the Ba-

Campbell and Miss Fannie Haw
kins Taylor, at a very .enjoyable
musical. Miss Taylor gave a num
ber of delightful selecticpa on the

wood's and her talent in execution
and her taste in the selection of
music were thoroughly appreciat
ed by the ladies present. At the
close of the informal program, de
licious refreshments were served.
