THE COUNTY BOND ISSUE.
The action of the Ware County Grand Jury at their adjourned
aeauan this week, in recommending the iaifue of two hundred thous
and dollar* worth of county bond, for ,tho purpose* of improving
war country roads and our rural schbola xpd for the building of an
up to date jail will meet with the approval of the progressive peo
ple all over the county.
The grand jury did not go into details aa to the plan for issu
ing and retiring these bonds but iu thoir resolution it is atated.that
an additional tax of 25 cents on the hundred would provide for
thoflnancing of this issue. It is to.jbo supposed that these gentle
men have made careful calculation on tho matter and are certain

We have our new mill in oper
ation and am prepared to make
as fine a quality , of meal , as any
water mill could possibly make.
We have large mill rocks that
run very slow which prevents the
meal from, heating. Our meal is
much sweeter than the shipped
meal, aa we do not bleach our
corn, which destroys its natural
sweetness. We will, in . a few
(jays publish the names of the
grocers who sell our meal. If you

tion, unless we improve the roads end . ptgvjde more liberally for
the edneation ot our children. Ev-^f more,^we cannot expect to keep
the boys and girls on the farm unless we ranko conditions better in
thee respects. ‘Other counties around'us are going forward along
these lines and Ware eannot afford! to lag behind.
It is duo the country children tr provide : them with school
bouses and teacher* as good aa can bo found in the towns and cities.
A country boy has as much sense, a*i a f totrq, (toy end should have
. Abe same chance to got a good oducation. Properly educated the
cmmlry boy or girl is worth as much as is the boy or girl from the
‘town and it is not fair to deprive the.children on the farms of a first
(dun edneation..- The boys and girl* of Ware county cannot get this
fair treatment without better sohodla’and bettor roads. The two go
.together. • ' , .,
r "fli* Jonrnal hopes therefore, that this .question of a bond iasue
will not be allowed to fall through. It should bo pushed to a success-
'fid conclusion by the oOUnty authorities: The first step has been
Intrm and this immense advanco along progreuive lines should not
neglected.

Mrs. J. D. Ray, 33 Jane street,,
Waycross, Ga, says: “My back,
ached so badly at times that Ij
could not get about to attend tol
my household. work.' It wa» v aji I
most impossible for me to get up 1
or down stairs, as every move I!
made sent sharp twinges through
my body. I could not rest well
at night and as a result felt mis
erable during the day. ' The kid
ney secretions were very irregu
lar in action and unnatural in ap
pearance. One box of Doan’s
Kidney Pills, obtained from Seale
Pharmacy gave me more relief
and in a shorter time than any
thing I ever u*cd. I am now free
from backache and feel like a
different preoh. I have told sev

benefit I received.
