Fifteen Bales to the Plow,
There is money in faraidng in
in Sonthwest Geopein, it it is done
in accordance with the ..ost ap
proved plans,
The productivenssa of Terrell
county lands hus been largely in
creased in the last severl years,
and this year more acres have pros
dueed a bale of cotton each thao
ever belore.
We can cite many iastances
where this has becn the case, nid o
still greater nutber where fi'teen
bales have been mada to the plow.
Among the many weo have done
this are Mr. B. . Melton and Mr.
Eli Jeukins. Mr. Jenkins ran
nine plews this year and each av
craged him fitteen hales weizhing
300 pounds eich. We also hear
of several colored firmers whio have
made fifteen ha'es to the plow.
Mr. Wiley Baldwin has even
surpassed all this by gathering
from a two =zcre patch in town
tour bules of cotton.
