anywhere else ever before like he did
here, he had a time. lam sorry that he
came, because he treated my friends so
badly. There is Dr. Woods, whose cart
was taken to pieces and placed in his
office. The Doctor ran all over the place
like a sitting hen. Yes, I like Dover.
Misses Wllla Lee and Bertha Arring
ton came down on Thursday last. I
think it is an honor for the Dawson
belles to take such pleasure trips as
they did.
Prof. J. R. Cranford and school spent
the first of April at the b-idge, but did
not enjoy it much.
Judge Guerry was down here a few
days ago shaking paws with ‘he Dover
voters. While here he played ball with
us. If he will make as good a Congre:s
man as he is a ball player, he will make
a good one. T heard a gentleman say
that he was the first candidate that ever
bragged on his children, therefore he
would have to vote for him. O. B, Ste
vens lost his vote, so come down, Mr.
Stevens, to see the Dover people and
amuse them for a while, and you can get
their votes. Yes, [ like Dover.
J. R. Crandford has been feeb'e a few
days, but we hope will soon recover.
