The Legislature will perhaps ad

on one of the Southwostern trains
a couple of youns dudes ealled on
the train hand for a piece of ice,

| Little children have some strange
ideas of things unseen which when
1 brought to light are really amus~
ting. The Rev, B W Davis tells
a very cood joke about his little
girl'sidea of a delegate. She had
; heard her parents talking for sev—

| ing to the Association and noticed
{ great prerarations heing made for
‘them.but had noidea what they

l when the delegates arrived and lit
| tle Pearl heard some of the older
| children say ‘‘the delegates have
come” she took a look at them and
ran to her mother with the infor—
mation: Mama the delegates have
{ come. They are just like folks—
| they won't bite.
| Another little girl, who had
- heard her perents talk about get
[ ting up something for the delegates

supply of chickens hrought home,
after the Association, when asked
what the delegates did, said “Eat

It matters not at what profess
ion we look or what business we
patronize, we can find cheating and
humbuggery. The lawyer will give
you poor advice, the Doctor will
mix upa few drugsand charge
you an enormous price for it, and
the merchant will adulterate his
goods and make you pay as though
you were getting the genuine
straight goods. This humbuggery
is found more in whiskey than in
any other class ot merchandise and
it 18 becoming really dangerous to
drink some of the whiskies that are
put on the market. If a man can’t
get a genuine -aticle of Liquors it
is far better that he touch it not,
for it is poisonous and will do him
a vital injury. I keep the goods
that are as sparkling as the moun
tain dew and as pure as the driven
snow, and all I ask of the publie
is, give me a trial, and I will
prove what I say.
