Denton, Texas Nov. 21.—Fifteen
tramps who were confined in the
calaboose here for refusing to work
were waited upon last night by a
mob of unknown men who over
powered the guards and took the
tramps out, administered thirty-
nine lashes well laid on to each and
then told them to “git.” They “got,”
and not a tramp is seen in
Denton to-day and no more are ex
pected this season.
