Among the entries for the crazy-
quilt show which opens in New
York next Tuesday is one intide hy
a soldier of nieces taken from the
uniforms of distinguished officers to
the number of 8,700 pieces, and
which required two and a half
years to make. It is valued at $3,-
000. One quilt is made of 17,000
pieces.
